The course will cover all major topics in Science in depth spanning from grades V to VIII

Basic math skills will be reinforced by covering essential math topics spanning the same grades through short introductory sessions along with practice worksheets

Course will focus on building conceptual understanding, developing scientific thinking through experience and exploration and making science learning enjoyable

A number of experiments will be performed for each Science topic and participants will be given an opportunity to practice them in groups

Sessions will be made very interactive through questioning and lot of opportunity will be given to think while learning

Pre tests and post tests will be conducted for every topic

Well designed sessions on a number of science topics will be offered and, teachers will be guided to design sessions for a few topics thereby giving exposure to design and develop curricular resources

Worksheets will be given for every topic. Teachers will also be guided on how to design worksheets

Research projects will be assigned to every teacher during the course to imbibe the scientific thinking process

Analytical reasoning and pictorial representation will be encouraged through graphs

Science kits will be provided to every teacher along with course notes including the set of experiments and worksheets which can be used in their classroom teaching

Opportunity will be given to teachers to create, present and discuss curricular resources among the group during the course

Towards the end of the course, a seminar will be organised by teachers including science exhibition and presentations
